Physical Literacy: The Plasticity of Young Minds

I recently came across this fantastic video by Doug Patterson. Doug in this video tries to learn how to ride a bike with a small but big difference. What he finds demonstrates why it is so important to learn how to move and be physically active whilst young as our minds have more plasticity for learning and overcoming challenging physical tasks. And more importantly, once a skill learnt it is very difficult to unlearn it, or relearn using a different understanding. This is why we must get physical literacy right from a young age. I hope you enjoy the video.
