Advantages and Disadvantages of Training Methods

This resource card can be used within A Level and GCSE lessons to encourage students to analyse and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different training methods.

You can remove the contents from any of the columns to make the resource card more difficult to stretch and challenge gifted and talented students.

Students have to identify whether the statment is an advantage or disadvantage and then identify what training method it might relate to. Students can then provide an explanation of their choice or comment on how they made / rationalised their decision / responses.

It can be a great starter / plenary / or home learning resource and can be used in a number of different ways.
