I recently came across this fantastic video by Doug Patterson. Doug in this video tries to learn how to ride a bike with a small but big difference. What he finds demonstrates why it is so important to learn how to move and be physically active whilst young as our minds have more plasticity for learning and overcoming challenging physical tasks. And more importantly, once a skill learnt it is very difficult to unlearn it, or relearn using a different understanding. This is why we must get physical literacy right from a young age. I hope you enjoy the video.

We at LifeDojo have the same feeling… gotta fit into our swimsuits come June! Instead of spending $$$ on a gym, or guilt-tripping yourself into running 10 miles on day one (only to give up a week later); take the time to watch these videos. By the end of this class, you will: – Learn about the physical, mental & emotional benefits of exercising. – Learn about the history of exercise, from 10,000 B.C. through to today. – Learn the story of today’s current crisis of inactivity...
