FlipGym Core Workout Cards
12 Exercises, 2 Workouts, 1 Unique Card. FlipGym® is a unique and innovative exercise tool to assist you in achieving your fitness goals. These pocket sized, durable exercise cards are packed with 2 punchy workouts of 6 exercises. Each Flip Gym® card takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. They are designed this way so that you can complete a fast and effective workout whether at home or in the gym.
The Flip Gym® workout cards have been designed by fitness professionals and contain exercises that will move your body in several ways. That way you will be confident that each routine will give you a balanced workout and ultimately better results.
Whether you want to lose weight, run a marathon or perform better in your sport there’s a Flip Gym® card for you. Simply choose your card then work through the 3 difficulty levels.
Complete the 6 exercises contained in your Flip Gym® card, then when you’re ready flip the card over and do the next set of 6 exercises. Each Flip Gym® exercise card is a single sheet of A3.
Learn each routine and master the exercises. Follow the handy instructions to ensure your technique is correct. Each exercise has at least two images, which along with the text should help you understand and perform the exercise as intended.
Get better at each exercise, record your results in the handy boxes on your Flip Gym® card and improve your personal best. If you’re not sure about how many of each exercise to do simply seek the advice of a trainer first.
Once you have done the exercises and can comfortably complete the routine simply progress onto the next level. Each Flip Gym® card is colour coded green (easy), amber (intermediate) or red (advanced).

Which difficulty level should I choose?
Each FlipGym® card is colour coded. You can see by the colour of the logo in the middle of each card which level you are on. Green are Easy, Amber are intermediate and Red are Advanced. We recommend that if you are new to exercise you should start with Green. Once you have some competence and can complete the exercises relatively easily with good technique you can move onto the Intermediate cards. These are mainly progressions from the Easy cards so if you mastered those the transition should be relatively easy. The same applies to Advanced. These are pretty hard so only attempt these if you feel confident that you can perform the exercises correctly with good technique.
Should I use FlipGym® if I am injured?
We cannot answer this. If you have any injury you should seek the advice of a relevant health / medical professional before conducting any exercise regime.
How do I fold the card to get from workout 1 to 2?
Simply follow the instructions in this step by step video tutorial. FlipGym® is a unique concept so it takes a few goes before you get the folding concept. Once you have done it a few times it will become second nature.
What are REPS and SETS?
Reps are repetitions and refer to how many times you should do an exercise. Sets simply dictate how many times you perform those reps. So 2 x 10 means 2 lots of 10 repetitions. Generally speaking you should perform a number of sets and repetitions that will ultimately fatigue your muscles. This is important as unless you overload the muscles you will never get any stronger. If you are new to exercise it isn’t necessarily how many you do, but more important to ensure that you perform your repetitions correctly. Technique is more important that volume. However, assuming good technique aim for around 10 – 15 repetitions in a single set.
How do I record my progress?
Each exercise has a handy tick box underneath the instructions. Use this to record your own progress or ask your trainer to set you goals throughout the week for each exercise.
I ache after completing the exercises, is that normal?
Yes, this is completely normal. This phenomenon is know as DOMS or Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness and usually happens 24-48 after any exercise that lengthens a muscle under tension. Usually noticed after performing a new exercise or increasing the difficulty of an existing exercise. The soreness is inflammation and is actually a good thing as your muscles are repairing themselves to be stronger than they were before the exercise.
How long will it take before my FlipGym® product arrives?
For orders in the United Kingdom we use Royal Mail second class delivery so your order should be with you within 3-5 working days from when we receive your order.
What do I do if my order hasn’t arrived?
If your order hasn’t arrived please contact us and we will investigate. If needs be, we will be happy to send you out a replacement as soon as possible.
My order has arrived damaged what can I do?
If your order has arrived damaged please contact us immediately. We will then arrange for a replacement product to be sent out as soon as possible.
Do you deliver outside of the UK?
Yes, of course, but the postage price can vary depending on where you are in the world. Please contact a member of our team who will be able to provide you with accurate pricing and delivery information.
