As a dedicated Head of PE, I am passionate about the power of sport and physical education to positively shape young people’s lives. My love for teaching and coaching is at the heart of everything I do.

I trained at Leeds Metropolitan University from 2007 to 2010 and am now in my 14th year of teaching. I am currently Head of Department at Bodmin College, part of the Cornwall Education Learning Trust. I am also completing my NPQLT to continue developing as a leader in education.

Alongside my leadership role, I hold a Level 2 Football Coaching qualification and currently coach an incredible U9s team. I am also a Level 2 Netball Coach and continue to play competitively.

Whether through curriculum development, mentoring trainee teachers, or securing funding to broaden student opportunities, I am committed to delivering an inclusive, inspiring PE experience. I am driven to create environments where sport empowers young people to achieve more, both in and out of the classroom.
