With a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from Loughborough University and a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education from Brunel University, Hannah taught in London before moving to Abu Dhabi, where she has spent the past 12 years teaching.

Teaching internationally has allowed Hannah to understand how different cultures perceive physical education and sport whilst teaching across many different phases of school, from Kindergarten to Grade 13. Currently, as a Head of Elementary PE, she has redesigned the elementary curriculum to develop a holistic approach within PE, something which she feels is important for her students.

Hannah has an inclusive approach to Physical Education and sport, and aims to promote opportunities for all students to participate competitively or recreationally in sports and physical activity through interhouse competitions, internal sports leagues and community events.

Hannah is currently in the 2nd year of her MA Education: Leading Sport in Schools from Buckingham University. Her dissertation focuses on the impact of technology on students’ academic and soft skills within elementary school. She is looking forward to completing her Master’s and using her findings to provide insights into how technology can in incorporated into schools in an effective manner.
