I have worked in sport and education since 2001, beginning my career as a sports coach before moving into secondary education as a physical education teacher and later head of department. In 2014, I transitioned into higher education, teaching and leading programmes in physical education and sports coaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

I remain closely connected to frontline practice in schools, regularly leading CPD for in-practice teachers and recently completing my own PhD, implementing lifestyle sports in schools using a meaningful PE approach.
