This resource provides a range of activities designed to support young people regulate their alertness, attention and readiness for learning.
They can benefit all learners, and can be particularly helpful to support those with sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, Autism and other co-occurring needs.
Co-designed with a team of occupational therapists, the activities have been categorised into:
- Physical
- Skill
- Creative
- Well-Being
This allows for a range of interests and preferences of activity.
There are also three types of activity:
- Alerting
- Organising
- Calming

The choice of activity type will depend on the current state of the learner and what they need to best prepare them for learning.
The resource was produced in collaboration with the Levels School.
