Leading Primary PE

Leading Primary PE Webinar

The best possible start

Ensuring all children get a positive first experience from physical education is essential. Young people enter primary school with a wide range of previous experiences (or lack of) around sport, physical activity and movement. Primary generalist teachers also carry a wide range of confidence, knowledge and skills when it comes to delivering Quality PE. As such, it is often a challenge leading, managing and co-ordinating the subject when there are so many other competing pressures for teacher and timetable time.

On Monday 16th May we hosted a PE Scholar webinar (recording available below) to discuss and share some top tips for effective PE subject leadership.

Watch this video for insight and ideas from a number of experts in their field.
