This game card series is intended to support teachers and student led activities with a simple one page summary of suitable setup and rules for some of the games that can be very effectively implemented in schools. Care is needed when selecting which games best meet your intended outcomes and which cohorts of children will engage best with different types of game.
In this game, two teams of 6-12 players aim to score points by kicking the ball between the opponent’s goal posts. The game is played in a marked rectangular or oval area and begins with a kick from the centre of the pitch.
