This game card series is intended to support teachers and student led activities with a simple one page summary of suitable setup and rules for some of the games that can be very effectively implemented in schools. Kho kho originates from India and is a popular tag game in South Asia. It is played on a rectangular court, with two teams of nine players. Eight players in the chasing (attacking) team sit in the middle of the court, in a line, facing alternate directions, while one active chaser runs to tag runners. Each tag earns one point, and tagged defenders are ‘out’. The active chaser can pass the turn by touching a seated teammate and saying “kho”.
