In this unit, pupils will focus on developing more advanced skills and apply them in game situations in order to outwit opponents. Pupils will develop the use of attacking and defensive tactics. Pupils will prepare mini tournaments and compete in them. They will work in groups taking on a range of roles and responsibilities to help each other to prepare and improve as a team. Pupils will also develop a deeper understanding about healthy lifestyles and fitness.
This session is designed as an introduction to attacking in 2v1 scenarios for players ages 7-11.
The aim of the session is to: successfully be able to dribble the ball and keep possession under pressure, demonstrate close control and awareness of others.
