The Hockey Penalty Corner: Step by Step Video

This step by step video describes each phase of the hockey penalty corner. It illustrates the correct technique within each phase, and highlights the possible tactics for this set play. It can be used within lessons or extra curricular clubs or to inform teacher/coach lesson planing. It can be used as a great stimulus for learning as a starter to a lesson or for describing when and how to perform the hockey penalty corner within the lesson.

Please note that rules now stipulate that the ball must travel outside of the D, but it does not have to be stopped ‘dead’ before it re-enters the D. For more information on the England Hockey Rules please click here.
