Indoor Rowing Resource Development & Teacher Training Course

British Rowing Teacher Training and Resources for Indoor Rowing

Following a busy summer creating and testing a new suite of resources to support indoor rowing and broader fitness development in schools, we are proud to share access to this new content.

We first shared this new partnership with British Rowing and London Youth Rowing on 15th March 2022 in this blog and are now ready to reveal the new materials for use in schools.

Thanks to funding from Sport England, we are able to offer the first 500 teachers in England who enrol on this free course with free access to some exciting new resources. The course will take you less than an hour to complete and is provided as an orientation around the new materials and supportive teaching ideas. We know that not every school is blessed with a suite of indoor rowing machines and hence have provided plenty of materials that will help anyway – to include these warm up/ cool down and circuit training cards:

We hope you will also be able to make use of easy to follow units of work and materials to support curricula and extra-curricular indoor rowing opportunities. For example skill development cards and a set of 12 ‘fun first’ indoor rowing activity cards that are suitable for class sizes of 30+ with only a small number of rowing machines:

At the end of the course you will get the chance to download a complete set of over 60 resource cards to use in your PE department.

Please do sign up and start working through the course NOW by enroling HERE
